PERMANENT RESIDENCE

Canada accepts refugees as permanent residents.  As a signatory to the 1951 Refugee Convention, Canada accepts refugees for humanitarian reasons to align with its international obligations, protect those in need and reunite refugee families.

You can be given refugee protection in Canada if you meet the definition of a Convention refugee, or if you are a person in need of protection.  In taking this giant step, Hemispheres Immigration would like to hear from you to begin the process of applying for refugee protection or humanitarian consideration.  Please book an appointment with Hemispheres Immigration.
